Current status and prospects of harmonic state-space modeling application
With the large-scale and distributed access of renewable energy sources and power electronic devices
the interactions between nonlinear sources and load in the power grids have become increasingly complex
significantly complicating the harmonic analysis.Harmonic state-space modeling is an effective method to analyse harmonic phenomena
as it extends the analysis to arbitrary harmonic orders and quantifies the coupling relationships among harmonic components. This technique has been widely applied to uncover the mechanisms of harmonic interaction in various power electronic converters. This paper presents a detailed overview of harmonic state-space modeling approaches and compares them with traditional harmonic modeling methods. It then examines the prerequisites and applicability of this method in power system harmonic analysis. The paper also summarizes recent advancements in its applications to converter modeling
system stability analysis
and harmonic interaction studies.Finally
prospects for the development and application of harmonic state-space modeling in harmonic analysis are discussed.
