Fast Frequency Support of Self-synchronizing Voltage Source Inverter Under Weak Grid Based on Adaptive Additional Damping Control
“In the field of grid-forming technology, researchers have made significant progress. They established a grid framework to analyze the frequency support service process of the self-synchronizing voltage source inverter (SSVSI). The study proposes an adaptive additional damping control method that optimizes the SSVSI's ability to support grid frequency, improving active power response speed and minimizing frequency deviation without needing grid parameter measurements.”
