Evolving Symbolic Model for Dynamic Security Assessment in Power Systems
“In the high-risk power system sector, a new methodology called the evolving symbolic model (ESM) has been proposed to enhance AI transparency and interpretability in control rooms. The ESM uses simulated annealing to evolve symbolic models, facilitating cooperative learning between humans and AI. Validated on the Madeira Island power system, the ESM achieves high classification accuracy and superior interpretability compared to traditional methods.”
