    • Pilot Protection Based on Backward Traveling-wave Voltage Difference for Submarine Cables of Low-frequency Transmission System with Integrated Offshore Wind Power

    • “The latest research in the field of offshore wind power integration has made significant strides. Experts have developed a new pilot protection system for multiterminal low-frequency transmission systems (LFTS) with integrated offshore wind power. This system uses backward traveling-wave voltage difference to enhance fault detection sensitivity, addressing issues with existing protections. Extensive simulations confirm its reliability in identifying fault cables across various scenarios.”
