The random charging of a large number of electric vehicles (EVs) connected to an integrated energy system (IES) can easily cause a sharp increase in peak load
thereby affecting the stable operation of the system. To address this issue
a two-stage optimization strategy for EV coordinated charging and IES capacity configuration considering the seasonal characteristics of source and load is proposed. In the first stage
a dynamic urgency index is introduced to reflect the urgency of EV charging demand in each time slot. Based on this
a coordinated EV charging model within the IES is constructed with the objective of minimizing the load peak-valley difference. In the second stage
based on mixed-integer linear programming
the IES equipment capacity is optimally configured by incorporating seasonal scenarios. Finally
the proposed strategy is validated through a two-stage comparative scheme. The results show that the proposed two-stage optimization method can not only effectively reduce the peak-valley difference of electric load
but also smooth out load fluctuations caused by EV integration
and significantly improve the overall economy of the IES.
