In response to the broadband oscillation phenomenon occurring in an islanded microgrid system in Central China
this paper proposes a mechanism analysis and suppression method for broadband oscillations in islanded microgrid systems incorporating grid-forming energy storage. Initially
a small-signal model of grid-following/grid-forming converters considering frequency coupling is established. Subsequently
based on practical engineering applications involving grid-forming energy storage and grid-following photovoltaic systems
an analysis of oscillation mechanisms and frequency coupling characteristics is conducted. The oscillation phenomena observed in actual engineering are reproduced
and the key factors influencing broadband oscillations in islanded renewable energy systems are revealed. Furthermore
oscillation suppression is achieved by adjusting control parameters. Finally
hardware-in-the-loop simulations are performed on the RT-LAB real-time simulation platform
validating the effectiveness of the proposed mechanism analysis method and suppression strategy.
