Dynamic Analysis Method for Virtual Power Plant Scheduling Boundaries Based on Spinning Reserve
To address the inefficiency in distribution network interactions caused by virtual power plants (VPPs) restricting information disclosure for internal model privacy protection, this paper proposes a dynamic scheduling boundary analysis method based on spinning reserve. First, the VPP’s residual regulation capability is treated as spinning reserve to handle renewable energy fluctuations, and its extreme scheduling boundaries are calculated. Second, fluctuation factors for wind and solar power are introduced to analyze dynamic scheduling boundaries under varying fluctuation conditions. By integrating rolling optimization and a consensus algorithm, the method enables real-time boundary updates and scheduling task allocation while preserving privacy. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed method can rapidly and reliably analyze VPP scheduling boundaries without relying on extensive renewable energy scenario simulations, significantly reducing computational complexity and improving efficiency.
