Short-term Load Forecasting for Distribution Networks Considering Multidimensional Meteorological Indicators
To address the current issue in short-term load forecasting research where emphasis is predominantly placed on algorithm improvement while insufficient attention is given to the exploration of meteorological data characteristics
this paper proposes a short-term load forecasting method for distribution networks incorporating multi-dimensional meteorological indicators. First,a conceptual framework for multidimensional meteorological indicators is unified from the perspective of human comfort perception
establishing a human comfort model based on the order relation method and entropy weight method. Second, the XGBoost algorithm is employed to develop a short-term load forecasting model that integrates human comfort scores with historical load data as model inputs to enhance prediction accuracy. Finally, empirical analysis using operational data from a distribution network in Sichuan demonstrates that the proposed model achieves superior forecasting precision compared to baseline models in short-term load prediction, thereby validating its effectiveness for practical applications in this domain.
