and their hybrid connection with grid-following(GFL)converters can effectively mitigate transient overvoltage issues in renewable energy station. However
the hybrid-connected system's numerous parameters and complex characteristics make the quantitative assessment of transient overvoltage challenging. To address this
a transient overvoltage evaluation method considering grid-following phase-locked loop(PLL)stability is proposed using the circuit superposition theorem and phasor diagrams
and key parameters affecting transient overvoltage are analyzed. Firstly
this paper simplifies the GFL and GFM hybrid-connected station according to converter characteristics
reducing the complexity of analysis.Secondly
the voltage dynamic process of the hybrid-connected station is analyzed from the three stages:before
during
and after short circuit faults. And this paper derives transient overvoltage assessment methods for the point of common coupling under different phase-locked loop stability conditions. In addition
based on the voltage assessment process
the influence of GFL parameters
GFM parameters
and the capacity ratio of GFL to GFM on transient overvoltage is explored. Finally
the transient overvoltage evaluation method and parameter impact analysis are verified through simulations.
