This study systematically reviews international aerospace standards and test-verification frameworks for spacecraft solar arrays
with particular focus on test item configurations during the development phase. By comparing the test item specifications and technical requirement criteria of the U.S. Military Standard MIL-STD-1540E and the European Cooperation for Space Standardization (ECSS) standard ECSS-E-10-03A
the study reveals commonalities and discrepancies between the two standards. The findings provide an actionable reference for optimizing China’s spacecraft solar array development processes and establishing robust verification systems.
