Anovel SBA-15 mesoporous channel limited bimetallic Cu-Co NPs catalyst (CuCo/SBA-15) was constructed. The catalyst was characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD)
N adsorption-desorption characteristics and scanning electron microscopy (SEM)
confirming that the confined structure can effectively regulate the particle size distribution of the active components and enhance the electronic synergy between the Cu and Co components. The results show that in the reaction of higher alcohol synthesis from syngas
the CuCo/SBA-15 catalyst achieved a higher alcohol selectivity of 41.6%. In particular
the distribution of C-C mixed alcohols was significantly narrowed
