Load restoration method for distribution networks considering distributed energy storage aggregation and emergency resource coordination
Efficient utilization of diverse resources for post-disaster power supply and rapid load restoration is crucial for improving distribution network resilience. To this end
a load restoration method considering distributed energy storage aggregation and emergency resource coordination is proposed. First
an aggregation model for distributed energy storage systems and a spatiotemporal scheduling model for emergency resources including mobile energy storage (MES) and maintenance crews are developed. Second
with the objectives of maximizing restored load quantity and minimizing total restoration cost
power maintenance teams and line switches are coordinated to realize network reconfiguration
while MES and distributed energy storage jointly supply power to isolated loads
forming a post-disaster coordinated load restoration optimization model for distribution networks. Subsequently
the McCormick envelope method is adopted to linearize nonlinear terms in the model
converting the original model into a mixed-integer linear programming model. Finally
case studies on modified IEEE33-bus and IEEE118-bus distribution networks verify the effectiveness of the proposed method in improving restored load volume and reducing computational time.
