Experimental study on waste heat recovery performance of flue gas of ceramic membranes
The flue gas emitted from thermal power plants contains a large amount of water vapor and waste heat. Using ceramic membranes to recover moisture and heat in the flue gas is an effective way
which has certain economic and social benefits. In this paper
the waste heat recovery performance from flue gas with ceramic membrane tubes of different pore sizes(30 nm
50 nm) was experimentally studied. The effects of flue gas temperature
flue gas flow rate
cooling water temperature and cooling water flow rate on the heat recovery performance were analyzed. The results show that
the heat recovery performance of the 50 nm ceramic membrane tube is better than that of the 30 nm ceramic membrane tube. The recovered heat flux and heat recovery rate of ceramic membrane tubes with 30 nm and 50 nm pore diameters increase with the flue gas temperature
flue gas flow rate and cooling water flowrate
and decrease with the increase of cooling water temperature. When the cooling water temperature reaches 30 ℃
the recovered heat flux decreases greatly. The research result has theoretical guiding significance for the application of ceramic membranes in flue gas waste heat recovery in thermal power plants.
