Study on co-combustion characteristics and kinetics of mixing fuel of sludge and coal
Co-combustion of sludge with coal is expected to improve the combustion characteristics of fuel
which can promote the innocent treatment and resource utilization of sludge. In this work
the co-combustion characteristics of Huainan coal and three types of wet sludge with high moisture content were investigated by temperature-programmed thermogravimetric experiment. Two typical iso-conversional methods
Flynn-WallOzawa method and Kissinger-Akahira-Sunose method
were used to obtain the kinetic parameters during the cocombustion process. The proportions of sludge in blended samples are 10%
30% and 50%(by mass). The experimental results show that
the weight loss of the blended sample mainly occurs at lower than 200 ℃ and 400~1 000 ℃. The weight loss of the blended sample between 400~1 000 ℃ becomes more insignificant as the sludge proportion increases. When the sludge mass proportion accounts for 10%
the weight loss of the blended sample is similar to that of coal. The apparent activation energy of the individual coal combustion and cocombustion of sludge with coal decreases with the increasing conversion ratio. The latter is always higher than the former at the corresponding conversion ratio.
