Dynamic characteristics of liquefied air energy storage system participating in frequency regulation of power grid
To deeply study the dynamic characteristics of liquefied air energy storage system participating in frequency regulation of the power grid
the simulation model of the expansion system of a 12.5 MW liquefied air energy storage was established based on the mathematical model. Combined with the infinite grid model
the parameter changes of the energy storage system under no-load impulse
grid connection and frequency regulation were simulated
and the feasibility and dynamic characteristics of the liquefied air energy storage system as a new auxiliary power grid frequency regulation technology were analyzed. The simulation results show that
the maximum unit value of the expander rotor speed during no-load impulse is 1.013
and the overspeed ratio is 1.3%.During grid-connected power generation
the actual speed unit value and the actual electric power unit value are stable to 1 at 765 s. In the process of grid frequency regulation
the actual power unit value stabilizes to 0.990 within10 s
and the highest actual power unit value is 1.032. This study provides a data reference for understanding the dynamic characteristics of liquefied air energy storage systems participating in grid frequency regulation.
