Effects of stress and hydrochemical parameters on intercrystalline corrosion of Incoloy800H alloy
dynamic potential polarization curve measurement and metallographic microscope observation
the effects of stress and hydrochemical parameters on intercrystalline corrosion of Incoloy800H alloy during startup of steam generator were experimentally studied. The results show that
the intercrystalline corrosion sensitivity of the Incoloy800H alloy increased significantly with the stress. The hydrochemical parameters such as mass concentration of chloride ion
dissolved oxygen concentration and pH value had a significant influence on intercrystalline corrosion of the Incoloy800H alloy. Measures like reducing the chloride ion's mass concentration and dissolved oxygen concentration
and increasing the pH value can effectively inhibit the intercrystal corrosion of the Incoloy800H alloy.
