Characteristics analysis of dry electrostatic precipitator in an ultra-supercritical 1 000 MW coal-fired unit
The feedback control of dust concentration at outlet of the electrostatic precipitator(ESP) can reduce the high energy consumption of ESP
and the dynamic model of the dust concentration is the basis for achieving dust concentration feedback control of the ESP. This paper studies both the static and dynamic characteristics of a dry electrostatic precipitator with five-electric-field structure in an ultra-supercritical 1 000 MW unit. Firstly
static characteristics test was performed on the first three electric fields. Then
the secondary current of the high-frequency power supply of the last two electric fields of the ESP was taken as control inputs
whereas the outlet dust concentration was taken as output. With increasingly stepping the secondary current at four typical load points
experimental data of the outlet dust concentration were collected to identify parameters of the dynamic models after fixing its structure based on an immune genetic algorithm
and the model results were compared with the actual measurement results. The results show that the established dynamic models can capture the real dynamics of the ESP and have high accuracy.
