Research and application of carbon emission conversion method for coal-fired generating units
In order to understand the influence of various systems involved in coal burning process on carbon emission intensity of coal-fired power supply
a method is proposed to decompose the carbon emission intensity of coal-fired power supply into various systems. Namely
according to the coal carbon content and carbon oxidation rate
the CO_2 generation coefficient per unit standard coal consumption is calculated
then the net coal consumption rate is decomposed according to the energy utilization status of each system. Finally
the coal consumption corresponding to the energy loss of each system is converted into carbon decomposition intensity. Taking a 330 MW coal-fired unit as an example
the decomposition distribution of the carbon emission intensity of coal-fired power supply in each system and its variation rule with the working condition are obtained through decomposition under three stable working conditions of 58% load
74% load and 89% load. The results show that
the carbon emission intensity of coal-fired power supply is negatively correlated with the unit load. The systems that have great influence on the carbon emission intensity of coal-fired power supply are steam turbine system
auxiliary power system and boiler system. The carbon emission intensity of boiler system is mainly caused by heat loss of exhaust gas
heat loss and mechanical incomplete combustion loss.
