Promotion effect of Ca(OH)2 on NO removal by H2O2 in alkaline system
On a self-built small-scale bubbling experimental system
the denitrification mechanism of H_2O_2 in alkaline environment was investigated. The role of different metals in catalyzing H_2O_2 denitrification was studied
and the key parameters for NO removal in the NaOH-Ca(OH)_2-H_2O_2 system were discussed. The results indicate that
the ×O_2~- radical decomposed from H_2O_2 had strong oxidability to NO. The addition of Ca(OH)2 could facilitate the generation of ×O_2~- radical from H_2O_2. The denitrification efficiency reached 90% as the addition concentration of Ca(OH)_2 was 0.1% and the temperature of absorbent was 45 ℃. Furthermore
the denitrification efficiency maintained at 71.1% in steady state test of pilot spray tower with flow rate of 100 m~3/h.
