Experimental study on co-combustion characteristics of coal and biomass
In order to alleviate the shortage of coal resources
blending biomass during coal combsution is a good solution. The combustion process of coals(blue-coal
Shenfu bituminous coal
Datong anthracite) and biomasses(soybean stalk
wheat stalk) and their mixtures were experimentally studied by integrated thermal analyzer under different conditions. The results show that
in a certain range
as the proportion of biomass increased
the characteristic temperature of blue carbon combustion reduced
and the comprehensive combustion characteristic index increased. When the biomass blending ratio was 50%
the ignition point of the mixed sample was very close to that of the biomass. As the heating rate increased
the blending of blue-coal and soybean stalk moved towards the high temperature zone
and both the comprehensive combustion characteristic index and the burnout characteristic index increased. The results of this experiment provide a basis for reducing the ignition point of coal and alleviating the tightness of coal resources.
