Catalytic gasification characteristics of activated carbon prepared by hyperaccumulator
In order to explore the resource utilization method of hyperaccumulator
the hyperaccumulator was made into activated carbon. Moreover
to study the catalytic effect of the activated carbon prepared by hyperaccumulator on coal
the CO_2 gasification experiments of coal were conducted in a thermogravimetric analyzer and a tube furnace. This study made full use of the characteristics of hyperaccumulator rich in heavy metals
and explored the effective utilization approach of hyperaccumulator. The experimental results showed that
after 10% activated carbon prepared by the hyperaccumulator was added into the raw coal
the weight loss rate of the coal increased from 58.01% to 66.83%
the activation energy reduced from 155.5 kJ/mol to 136.5 kJ/mol at953.15~1 168.15 K
the carbon conversion rate increased from 78.88% to 90.16% at 1 173.15 K in the tube furnace
and the catalysis effects turned better with the increasing amount of activated carbon.
