Research on design margin of steam generator in CPR1000 units
The design margin test results of steam generator(SG) does not meet the requirements of acceptance criterion in CPR1000 units in China
the outlet steam pressure of the SG is low
and the low steam pressure has affected the output of steam turbine. Taking the 55/19
60 F and Δ125 steam generators designed by Framtone and Westinghouse as the research objects
a mathematical model was established based on the design data
and the heat transfer area was checked and calculated. The influence of pipe plugging rate
primary loop flow rate and primary loop average temperature on the SG outlet pressure were investigated. The test data of SG margin in nuclear power plant were verified and calculated. Finally
according to the video inspection of SG on site
it found that the root cause for the unqualified SG margin test of new CPR1000 units was the scaling on the secondary side.
