Comparison of thermo-electric decoupling techniques for heating units
Large-scale thermoelectric decoupling technology has become the development trend of heating units. Taking a subcritical 330 MW heating unit as an example
from the view of technical principles
technical characteristics and application performance
conventional thermoelectric decoupling technologies of heating units such as bypass heating system of high and medium pressure cylinder
heat accumulator
electric boiler and low pressure cylinders with zero-output are summarized
discussed and comparatively analyzed. The technology of bypass heating system of high and medium pressure cylinder suits for all coal-fired heating units. However
the safety and reliability of the pressure reducer
regulating valve and corresponding piping system need further study and field demonstration. When the heating units equipped with heat accumulator or electric boiler
optimization design should be implemented according to the local power grid situation
peak regulation policy
heat load and other factors. The heating technology of low pressure cylinders with zero-output applied for thermoelectric decoupling technologies of heating units shows significant advantages of the lowest cost
best thermal economy and largest comprehensive advantages. It is recommended that the most suitable thermoelectric decoupling solution should be determined from the unit's own actual situation.
