Technical economic analysis of carbon capture units after combustion
The high cost of carbon dioxide capture for coal-fired units is the major factor that limits the application of carbon-reduction technology of coal-fired units. In this study
to solve the problem of high cost of carbon capture
the cost analysis model and technical economic analysis model of carbon capture unit are established respectively. Taking the 600 MW unit as an example
the parameters such as construction cost and power generation cost of the reference unit and carbon capture unit are calculated. Then the effect of CO_2 emission tax revenue and selling price on power generation cost of unit and the mutual regulation relationship between the price of CO_2 emission tax and selling price under the same power generation cost are analysed and discussed. The results show that
compared with the reference unit
under the same operating conditions
the power generation cost of carbon capture unit increases by 65.6%
and the carbon reduction cost of carbon capture units is 2 045.787 yuan/t.
