Performance analysis of a novel low concentration PV/T cogeneration system
The comprehensive utilization technology of low concentration photovoltaic/thermal(LCPV/T) can enhance not only the economy of power system(the cost of the concentrator is lower than that of the PV cells)
but also the hot water quality of heating system.A new type of LCPV/T component is proposed in this study. It uses a quarter-slice form of N-type bifacial crystalline silicon cells. And the system thermoelectric properties under different irradiation intensity and flow conditions are verified on a biaxial tracking experimental platform.Thereby
the change rules between the parameters are obtained. The results of performance evaluation research indicate that there is a certain difference between the simulated results and experimental results. At the actual operating flow of 100 L/h
the maximum total efficiency
thermal efficiency
electric efficiency
thermal power and electric power of the novel LCPV/T system are 70.53%
