DETERMINATION OF THE OPTIMAL INITIAL PRESSURE IN SLIDING-PRESSURE OPERATION OF STEAM TURBINES
a mathematical model for determining the dynamic optimal initial pressure in sliding-pressure operation of steam turbines has been established on the basis of comprehensively considering the factors. such as the influence of main steam pressure variation upon efficiency of the governing stage
power consumption of the feed-water pump
efficiency of the flow passage
temperature variation of the superheater and the reheater etc. Taking 300 MW steam turbines in Zhangjiakou Power Plant as example
the operation data have been calculated
and comparison with the optimal operation curve provided from the manufacturer being made. Results show that the optimal initial pressure of operation isn’t a single-valued function of the load
but a complex funtion related to the operation environment of the unit.
