TEST STUDY ON NATURAL GAS REBURNING TECHNOLOGY FOR TANGENTIALLY FIRED PULVERIZED COAL BOILER
The test study on mixing properties of pulverized coal jet flow
the natural gas reburning jet flow
and burnaway air flow has been carried out on a minified (1∶12.5) coldstate simulation test stand of a 50 MW tangentially fired pulverized coal boiler
and the computerized numerical simulation of mixing properties for jet flows being made. On the basis of coldstate test study and numerical simulation
the first industrial test of natural gas reburning (NGR) for denitrification has been completed on real boiler no.6 of 50 MW unit in Jiangyou Power Plant
Sichuan Province. Results show that it is reasonable to apply coldstate test study and computerized numerical simulation ways for designing NGR system
and opposed injecting natural gas jet flow and burnaway air flow on front and rear wall being feasible in a tangential firing pulverized coal boiler for burning inferior coal with low calorific value (about 17 MJ/kg) and high ash content (about 41%). Under condition of natural gas’s heat input to be 15.6%
