TEST STUDY ON ATOMIZED PARTICLE SIZE FROM SWIRL NOZZLES USED FOR WET FLUE GAS DESULFURATION
Abstract
Taking swirl nozzles comonly used for wet flue gas desulfuration technology as the object
a series of nozzles with similar geometry and nozzles with only different outlet diameters have been developed and manufactured. A comparison test of selected solid cone nozzles with spiral nozzles has been carried out
the variation rule of atomized particle size and distribution rule of atomized particles for swirl nozzles being systematically studied. Results show that the influence of swirl nozzle’s structural parameters upon atomized particle size to be larger; when atomized particle size to be (1 300
3
300)μm
it was found from comparison of three kinds of nozzles that the energy consumption of spiral nozzle to be the lowest
but the atomized quality of swirl nozzle to be better.
