AN APPROACH TO USE ICE COOL-ACCUMULATING TECHNOLOGY FOR INLET AIR COOLING OF GAS TURBINGS
Gas turbines are usually used for peak-load regulating operation in the power grid
but its output power is obviously influenced by the ambient temperature
hence
the power output of a gas turbine should be enhanced through inlet air cooling. Various methods of inlet air cooling for gas turbines have been analysed
the capacity of equipment needed for using ice cool-accumulating technology having been calculated and the capital investment analysed. The results show that the said technology not only can effectively increase the power output of a gas turbine
