THERMODYNAMIC PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS OF HP STEAM FLOW PATH OF A K-320-23.5-4 TYPE SUPERCRITICAL PRESSURE TURBINE
Abstract For a K-320-23.5-4 type supercritical pressure turbine made in former Soviet Union
inspection and geometric measurement of its HP part’s steam flow path with stage by stage thermodynamic calculation reveal the causes of low effieiency of HP part
dismatching of the steam conditions (supercritical pressure) to the capacity of HP part
i.e. steam condition are too high for the selected capacity.
