The dynamic characteristics of dry frictionally damped blade have been studied with theoretical and experimental methods. A finite element model of damped blade by adopting twisted beam element is feristly developed
which can be employed to simulate the blade perfectly by using a few elements. Then the dynamic characteristics of a test blade is analyzed through the finite element method
and the results of computation are compared with experimental results
the consistence between them have poven the theoretical model. At last
a conclusion is drawn that there is an optimum normal force between the rub surfaces of dampers
and external exciting force can influence the value of optimum normal force.
