Brushless doubly-fed induction generator (BDFIG) cancels brushes and slip rings with special structure design
and thus has high reliability
but has obvious saturation characteristics. In recent BDFIG studies
the saturation impact is usually ignored
and the control design of brushless doubly-fed shaft generation assumes of constant BDFIG parameters. Taking the key current closed-loop relation of brushless doubly-fed shaft generation system as the basis
the frequency domain closed-loop performances during inductance parameter drift under under different saturation are analyzed. Based on the influence of parameter drift on current-loop width and decoup ling degree
the control parameter optimization method is proposed
which can guarantee parameter robustness and dynamic stability at the same time and improve the generation performance in whole operating range. The results show that under the typical 975 r/min light-load to full-load condition
without control parameter optimization
the inductance parameter drift decreases the dynamic response speed
and the oscillation is obvious
while after optimization
the saturated-state control performance maintains as the unsaturated one.
