Impact of Techno-Economic Breakthroughs in Photovoltaic LCOE on Green Hydrogen Costs
Hydrogen Energy Development Strategy and Socioeconomic Impact | 更新时间:2025-10-22
    • Impact of Techno-Economic Breakthroughs in Photovoltaic LCOE on Green Hydrogen Costs

    • “The International Hydrogen Council predicts that by 2050, hydrogen will account for 18% of the world's total terminal energy demand. Based on the data of light resources in typical regions of China, this study constructs a standardized electricity cost calculation model, analyzes the cost of photovoltaic power generation, and quantifies the marginal impact of improving photovoltaic conversion efficiency on costs. With the decrease in component costs and the improvement of conversion efficiency, more than 90% of photovoltaic LCOE in China will have the potential to exceed 0.1 yuan/kWh, and the production cost of green hydrogen will show a competitive advantage.”
