Analysis of Prevention and Control Effect of Dust Pollution from Highway Construction
In order to understand the current situation and characteristics of dust pollution in highway construction in Jiangxi Province
this paper analyzes the dust emission characteristics of three highways under construction in four different construction stages: earthwork excavation
foundation construction
earthwork backfilling and general construction. The results show that: 1) There are significant differences in the net dust concentration in the upper and lower wind directions in different construction stages. The earthwork excavation stage has the highest average net mass concentration(271.21 μg/m~3)
followed by earthwork backfilling and foundation construction stage(90.12 μg/m~3 an
d 98.15 μg/m~3)
meanwhile the general construction stage has the lowest average net mass concentration(79.20 μg/m~3). 2) The net concentration of construction dust is significantly positively correlated with wind speed and relative humidity
and is weakly correlated with temperature. 3)After evaluating the effect of watering prevention and control measures
watering and hoarding can significantly reduced the PM
10
mass concentration at the construction site. The results provide necessary technical support and scientific basis for the control and management of construction dust emission in Jiangxi province. It plays a vital role in improving the quality of urban atmospheric environment.
