How to improve the dephosphorization rate in converter steelmaking has always been the research focus of iron and steel complex enterprises at home and abroad. Considering that the P mass fraction of molten steel in an iron and steel complex is often higher than the requirements of national standards
the influence laws of adjusting the use of auxiliary materials
improving smelting operation and optimizing process conditions on the dep rate of 120 t converter in the iron and steel complex are studied. The results show that improving the quality of lime
using limestone to replace part of lime
properly adjusting the feeding amount and time
and increasing the feeding amount of return ore can increase the dep rate of converter to more than 90%. In addition
the transfer of P from molten steel to slag can be promoted through early slag melting in the early stage
early slag melting in the middle stage and slag penetration in the later stage
so as to improve the dep rate. In addition
by controlling the end-point temperature of converter smelting to 1 610-1 640 ℃
and combining the double slag method and the final slag control method
the P2O5in the final slag can be 3.20%-4.32%. Through the above comprehensive measures
the P in the final tapping of the converter can be ensured to be less than 0.03% and the dep rate can be increased to more than 90%.
