Simulation of Biomass Gasification Coupled with Micro Gas Turbine Power Generation System
In order to study the influence of different biomass on the operation characteristics of biomass gasification coupled with micro gas turbine power generation system
the model of combined power generation system was built. Taking sawdust
straw and food waste as raw materials
the best air-fuel ratio of this three kinds of biomass was determined as 1.4
1.6 and 1.9 respectively. The biomass gas under corresponding conditions was used as the fuel of micro gas turbine
the influence of initial temperature of biomass gas on the operation performance of gas turbine and combined power generation system was studied. When the output power of the unit is rat
ed
and the initial temperature of biomass gas increases from ambient temperature to 450 ℃
the required biomass flow decreases
and the net efficiency of the combined power generation system increases. Under the condition of the constant gas turbine output
adding a regenerator can result in the increase of combustion chamber outlet temperature
the decrease of turbine exhaust temperature
and the increases of gas turbine power generation efficiency and the net efficiency of the combined power generation system. The addition of regenerator and the increase of biomass gas initial temperature are beneficial to the reduction of SO
2
and SO
3
emissions and unfavorable to the reduction of NO emissions in the co-generation system.
