Urban high-pressure gas pipeline is the aorta of urban gas supply
and it is also an important object of supervision in the field of urban public safety. In order to ensure the safe and reliable operation of urban high-pressure gas pipeline
it is necessary to optimize the existing pipeline inspection scheme. In this paper
taking a high-pressure gas pipeline in Tianjin as an example
the necessity of UAV technology for auxiliary inspection is analyzed by investigating its inspection status and difficulties. Aiming at the existing problem of line inspection
a UAV inspection scheme equipped with high-definition camera and laser methane telemetry equipment is designed
and the composition and function of the main functional modules of the scheme are introduced in detail. Finally
an example is given to show the inspection scheme
which proves that compared with the existing patrol mode
the advantages of UAV inspection are that the environment around the pipeline is more intuitive. It can monitor areas that are difficult to monitor by manual inspection. Through intelligent picture analysis
quickly determine the phenomenon of third-party occupation. The inspection workload is reduced and the inspection efficiency is improved.
