Comprehensive speed regulation characteristics of squirrel-cage cylindrical magnetic coupler considering machine-electromagnetic coupling system
The cylindrical magnetic coupler is usually applied in the machine-electromagnetic transmission system combined with motor
fan
pump or other loads. The speed regulation problem of the magnetic coupler is restricted by the working performance of the motor and load. In order to study the speed regulation method of mechanical transmission system
a comprehensive speed regulation method that introduces power machine and the load characteristics of working machine
combined with the speed regulation performance of magnetic coupler was proposed. Based on the equivalent magnetic network method
the electromagnetic torque formula of the magnetic coupler was derived. To determine the speed regulation range of the magnetic coupler
mechanical characteristic for power machine and magnetic coupler were derived using discretization method. Considering their mutually restrictive relationship is stable
the relation of the three was solved and the speed regulation range when different output speeds and load torques and optimal speed regulation range were determined. Finally
the transmission performance test platform was built and the output torque of the magnetic coupler under different slip rates and coupling positions was measured
and the test results were compared with those obtained by the theoretical calculation and simulation
verifying effectiveness and accuracy of the proposed method.
