With economic and social development and the continuous advancement of water conservancy project construction

the importance of daily repair and maintenance of water conservancy projects has become increasingly prominent. To improve the daily maintenance and management of water conservancy projects

this paper draws on maintenance and management models from the highway and landscaping sectors

reviews their development processes and current practices

and summarizes typical domestic and international experience in related maintenance and management models. On this basis

it proposes suggestions for water conservancy project maintenance

including adopting a dual-control payment method

strengthening market support

applying flexible maintenance approaches

promoting nature-based maintenance practices

and developing intelligent maintenance. These suggestions aim to ensure the safe

healthy

and efficient operation of water conservancy projects

improve the management level of daily repair and maintenance projects

enhance maintenance efficiency

and provide references for subsequent maintenance work.
