Abstract

This article summarizes the development history and characteristics of pumped storage

and sorts out the development achievements of pumped storage from the aspects of site resources

installed capacity

investment level

and operation. It systematically summarizes the situation and problems faced by pumped storage in China

predicts the development trend of pumped storage

and looks forward to the future development of pumped storage power stations.
