and domestic water use data of Shizuishan City from 2005 to 2021
this article describes the evolution law of water use structure through information entropy and analyzes the main driving forces affecting the evolution of water use structure using grey relational degree. The result indicates that the total water consumption in Shizuishan is showing a steady and decreasing trend
and the information entropy and equilibrium degree of water use structure tend to decrease in fluctuations
showing that the distribution of water use structure is in an unbalanced state and is long-term affected by a single factor of agricultural water use. The grey relational degree reflects that the evolution of water use structure is mainly influenced by industrial structure
agricultural production scale
and population size
with the planting area of grain crops as the largest impact.
