The ecological flow of rivers and lakes is the structure and function that maintains water ecosystems such as rivers and lakes. It is necessary to retain the flow(water quantity

water level) and its processes that meet water quality requirements within rivers and lakes. Since 2017

Anhui Province has carried out ecological flow guarantee work for rivers and lakes in batches

involving a total of 21 rivers and lakesand 32 assessment sections up to now. This article introduces the implementation of ecological flow guarantee work in rivers and lakes in Anhui Province

evaluates the ecological flow guarantee status of rivers and lakes in Anhui Province in 2022

analyzes the issues existed in the practical work of ecological flow guarantee

and puts forward targeted suggestions. The year 2022 in Anhui Province was a special drought year

thus the analysis of the ecological flow guarantee status of rivers and lakes under drought conditions is of typical significance for guiding ecological flow scheduling and guarantee work.
