The sand and stone resources in the river channels of Huaping County are mainly distributed on the Xinzhuang River and Wumu River channels. With the rapid development of urban and other infrastructure construction

the demand for sand and stone has increased rapidly

and the number and scale of river stone and sand mining points have increased

overlapped with problems of unlicensed and disorderly illegal sand mining. This article analyzes the current situation and main problems of sand mining management regulations

and management models in Huaping's river channels. In response to the existing problems

it proposes suggestions to strengthen supervision and management from three aspects

such as implementation requirements of sand mining planning

sand mining permits

and sand mining management capabilities

in order to make the sand mining management in the river channels of Huaping County more scientific and standardized.
