A Coordinated Optimization Method for Transmission Network Loss Reduction under High Renewable Energy Penetration
transmission network losses become increasingly prominent. This paper constructs a four-dimensional source-grid-load-storage decomposition model
systematically identifies the types of additional losses caused by renewable energy fluctuations
and proposes a coordinated control strategy integrating energy storage regulation
reactive power optimization
and network topology reconfiguration. To achieve coordinated control across multiple time scales
a two-stage optimization method based on mixed-integer second-order cone programming (MISOCP) and an improved grey wolf optimization algorithm (IGWO) is designed to ensure steady-state economy and dynamic response capability. Simulation results show that the strategy significantly reduces network losses under typical operating scenarios. Economic analysis shows that the scheme provides a favorable return on investment and has potential for wider application. The study verifies the feasibility and effectiveness of multidimensional coordinated control in power grids with high renewable energy penetration.
