This paper investigates the influence of tower spacing on the performance of indirect air-cooled towers in nuclear power projects.Using numerical simulation methods
the effects of changes in horizontal and vertical spacing on the heat dissipation performance of each tower in the tower group under different wind directions and wind speeds are analyzed. The results show that under the main and secondary wind directions
the changes in spacing have little effect on the heat dissipation performance. However
under the NE wind direction
increasing the spacing can significantly improve the heat dissipation performance. This paper also proposes suggestions for optimizing the spacing of tower groups
providing a theoretical basis for the design and layout of indirect air-cooled towers in nuclear power projects.
