Research and development of new eco-friendly insulation gases is the core technology direction of low carbon electrical equipment under the dual-carbon target. Researchers at home and abroad have conducted a large number of studies on new gas design screening
synthesis
gas integrated performance evaluation and regulation
and proposed a variety of alternative gases. However
the feasibility of most new gases being applied to equipment is still unknown. For this reason
this paper first compares the key performance of the reported new gases
then discusses the necessary performance indicators and their control methods that should be considered when the new gases are adapted to engineering application requirements. Then
trifluoromethylsulfonyl fluoride (CF3SO2F) gas is mainly reviewed
the existing research progress is summarized from the aspects of design screening
preparation technology
key performance
equipment test
and charged check
and the application potentials of CF3SO2F/N2 mixed gas to replace SF6 in 110 kV and above voltage grade GIS bus or GIL equipment are proposed. The conclusion has laid the foundation for research and development of CF3SO2F based eco-friendly equipment and its engineering application.
