The calculation of the physical property parameters of CF3OCF=CF2/CO2 gas mixture
a newly discovered alternative to SF6
is of great significance for further research on its arc extinguishing characteristics. In this paper
the saturated vapor pressure of the gas mixture is obtained through the Antoine equation and the gas-liquid equilibrium law. Combined with the mass action law model
thermodynamic relations
Chapman-Enskog theory
and the net emission coefficient model
the equilibrium components
thermodynamic parameters
transport coefficients
and net emission coefficient of the arc plasma are obtained. The research results indicate that
if the operating condition of the minimum temperature of -25 ℃ is to be met
the mixing proportion k of CF3OCF=CF2 in the gas mixture at 0.6 MPa should not exceed 12%. By analyzing ρCp
ρh
and the net emission coefficient
it can be inferred that the radial heat conduction ability of the gas mixture is inferior to that of SF6
while its axial heat convection ability is stronger than SF6. Under the same gas pressure and arc radius
the emission ability of the gas mixture is lower than that of SF6 when the temperature is below 7 000 K
and gradually exceeds that of SF6 after 7 000 K. This research can provide basic data for further analysis of the arc extinguishing characteristics of the gas mixture and is helpful for the evaluation and selection of SF6 alternatives.
