Co-control Strategy for Hybrid Storage-assisted Thermal Power Unit Frequency Regulation Based on ICEEMDAN Decomposition
Aiming at the problems faced by the combined fire-storage system in participating in the secondary grid FM
such as the large loss of unit FM and the poor economy due to the short storage life
a cooperative control strategy based on the improved adaptive complete set empirical modal decomposition of hybrid energy storage to assist the FM of thermal power units is proposed. In the fire-storage power allocation layer
based on the different response characteristics of the thermal power and energy storage systems
the power allocator is constructed using the improved adaptive perfect ensemble empirical modal decomposition and the multi-scale arrangement entropy to complete the power allocation between fire and storage. At the hybrid energy storage power allocation layer
a multimodal coordinated action strategy for flywheel-battery energy storage system is proposed to ensure that each energy storage system works in a reasonable operation interval and adaptively adjusts the output power according to the charge state of the energy storage system. Finally
the proposed strategy is evaluated by establishing an economic model of the joint fire-storage FM system. The simulation results show that the proposed strategy can effectively reduce the climbing loss of the unit
extend the operating life of the battery storage system
and improve the economic efficiency of the combined fire-storage FM system.
