Exploration of Transient Stability Characteristics of High Proportion New Energy Grid Based on Scenario Simulation
With the high proportion of new energy connected to the power grid
the transient stability characteristics and evolution of the system may undergo profound changes. Based on the scenario simulation
this paper discusses the transient stability characteristics of the system after the high proportion of new energy is connected to the large power grid. Firstly
the research scenario is constructed based on the typical off-line peak load mode of Northwest Power Grid.
in which new energy accounts for up to 60%; Secondly
the impact of grid-following new energy units and grid-forming new energy units on the transient stability of the system was analyzed
and the influence of inertia parameters and regulation time of grid-forming units was considered; Finally
the impact of the proportion of grid grid-following
grid-forming new energy units and the configuration of grid-structured units on the stability of the large power grid was discussed in detail. This paper provides a useful exploration for the transient stability characteristics of high proportion of new energy power grid. And the relevant conclusions can expand the cognition of the transient stability characteristics of the actual power system with high proportion of new energy access
and provide reference and thinking for ensuring the safe and stable operation of the system and exploring the future research direction.
