Control Strategy of a Dual-drive Parallel System for the Intelligent Working Platform of High-voltage Transmission Crossing Frames
To improve the operational accuracy and synchronization coordination of a novel intelligent working platform of high-voltage transmission crossing frames
this paper investigates the control strategy of a dual-drive parallel system for the platform. Aiming at the problems of system position tracking error and dual-drive synchronization error
and considering the influence of parameter perturbation and external uncertainty disturbance
an adaptive backstepping cross-coupling control strategy is proposed. The mathematical model of mechanical coupling of dual-drive parallel system is established
and the decoupling control theory is used to decouple the coupling system
so as to eliminate the mechanical coupling effect between dual-drives
An adaptive backstepping controller is also designed to reduce the tracking error and synchronization error and enhance the robustness of the system. The effectiveness of the proposed control strategy is verified by simulation and experiment. The experimental results show that the maximum tracking errors of traveling system A and traveling system B are 1.779×10-4 m
the root mean square values are 1.058×10-4 m
the maximum synchronization error is 7.275×10-7 m
and the root mean square value is 1.173×10-7 m. The experimental results show that the control strategy can significantly reduce the tracking errors and synchronization errors of dual-drive parallel systems and has good robustness.
